The UK's neuromorphic computing community will come together this October for an Innovate UK Business Connect webinar exploring how brain-inspired computing technologies could help shape the future of AI, edge computing and sustainable digital infrastructure.
Professor Tony Kenyon, Director of NeuroWare, will present alongside representatives from NeuMat and NeuroSYNC, introducing attendees to the UK's growing neuromorphic ecosystem and highlighting opportunities for businesses, innovators and researchers to engage with this rapidly developing field.
As an EPSRC-funded Innovation and Knowledge Centre, NeuroWare supports the translation and adoption of neuromorphic computing technologies, bringing together expertise from industry, academia and policy. During the webinar, Prof Kenyon will outline how NeuroWare is helping to accelerate innovation in the sector and enabling organisations to connect with emerging opportunities in next-generation computing.
The event will also showcase the complementary roles of NeuMat and NeuroSYNC, demonstrating how the UK's coordinated investment in neuromorphic technologies is strengthening capabilities across materials, devices, systems and applications.
Date: 29 October 2026
Time: 10:00-11:30 (UK time)
Location: Online
The webinar is open to businesses, researchers, investors, policymakers and anyone interested in energy-efficient computing, AI hardware and future computing technologies.
